Swedish Presto Group (“Presto”), Europe’s leading company within active fire safety, safety training, and first aid, has announced the acquisition of Eurofesa SA, a leading fire safety service company in Spain. This strategic acquisition further strengthens Presto’s European position as Eurofesa is specialised in the commercialisation, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems. The company operates in 9 locations across Spain, with more than 160 employees serving over 8,000 customers.

The acquisition of Eurofesa SA means that Presto has formed an even stronger platform in Europe, following its acquisition of German leading fire safety company Jockel Brandschutztechik in 2023. Adding Eurofesa to the Presto Group will continue to drive organic growth across even more markets, while consolidating existing and new customers, who will benefit from an even stronger specialist in active fire safety.

“I am excited to welcome Eurofesa SA to the Presto Group. We have a strong purpose, and our market is growing rapidly. Together, we can form an even stronger European offering, where we can support even more customers under the vision ‘Saving lives together’. Eurofesa and Presto already share the same values, strong entrepreneurial spirit, and ambitious sustainability agenda. We look forward to continuing our journey together with all 160 new employees from Eurofesa,” says Filip Bjurström, CEO of Presto Group.

Founded in Madrid in 1986 by Mr. Félix López and two associates, Eurofesa is a company specialized in the installation and maintenance of active fire protection services. The company has developed its presence in Spain with several commercial offices across the national territory, namely Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, País Vasco, Sevilla, Valencia, Galicia, and Aragón. The company has been consolidating and expanding nationwide since the end of 2009, incorporating new businesses, and constantly investing in equipment and facilities. Eurofesa has developed a strong brand and client portfolio spread across the different commercial offices.

David Lopez, CEO of Eurofesa SA, will remain as CEO of the company and will also play an active role in Presto Group’s future development.

"Presto is the natural partner for us, and we look forward to strengthening our position and continuing our growth together. Crucial for us is that we already share the ambition to develop the industry in a positive direction. Both Eurofesa and Presto have a lot to learn from each other, and together we can become an even better company for all our customers and employees," says David Lopez, CEO of Eurofesa SA.
